NFL Week 5 has come and gone, and with it, a myriad of upsets and surprises.

The Buffalo Bills fell to the Houston Texans in what most dubbed a “revenge game” after the AFC East team traded away Stefon Diggs. Patrick Mahomes has played the worst football of his career this year, and yet somehow, the Super Bowl champions are sitting pretty at 5-0. Rookie QBs such as the Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels, the Chicago Bears’ Caleb Williams, and the Denver Broncos’ Bo Nix all got wins, and in a deciding fashion as the 2024 rookie quarterbacks continue to impress.

Multiple teams around the NFL were upset in close matchups, with most of those games having long-term and eventual playoff implications come December and January. There were even celebrity sightings throughout the madness, as stars showed up and showed out for their favorite squads (and boyfriends, shoutout to Taylor Swift).

Take a look through Week 5 of the NFL season as we head into the 6th week of the schedule.
