Football Manager 24 24/25 Season Database – Don’t Delay
With the news that Football Manager 25 has been delayed until March 2025, it’s time for a Football Manager 24 24/25 Season Database update.
So as the news starts to dissipate through the FM community that we won’t get a new FM in 2024, it’s time to look at solutions to breed new life in FM24. The most obvious way to do that is to bring the 24/25 season into FM24. There are a few options for those on PC, but we’ve simply stuck with one for this article. We’ll update this article in time, as we suspect more databases will be made given the recent news. We are also keen to see when someone uploads a more complete version to the Steam Workshop to make things just a little easier for people.
Football Manager 24 24/25 Season Database
We looked at a few options, but for now, the FMinside Database is the one we like the most. Here are the key features of the update:
Promotion & Relegation for every playable league in FM24
Transfers up to September 30th
Loans up to September 30th
Added missing players to the database
Added missing staff, including the full staff of Ajax and more
Real Competition, Cup, and Club names (250.000 changes)
Real Media Sources (3400 changes)
Real Agents & Clients (2246 changes)
As a note on some of these, we’d advise turning off any other real name-style database or add-ons you have. Also, the FM24 Editor has limits, so you will still be playing as if the world were in 2024. That means Euro 2024 will still happen, as will the old European formats. This also means that Everton will still have their points deduction as that data is hardcoded into the game. But the rest of it is all good.

How to Install the 24/25 Database
Installation is fairly simple:
Download the ZIP file from the link above
Unzip the file (7Zip or Winrar)
Place the Football Manager Update and other files in the ZIP in the following location
DocumentsSports InteractiveFootball Manager 2024editor data – (other platform locations below)
If you have any old versions of the database, make sure to remove them
Launch FM24 and begin a new career
On the first screen, you should see the Database section shown in the image below
Tick all the files you want to use
For the main game database, make sure to pick FM24.3 database. This is the official FM 24 Winter update database
Now make sure to select “Original” for game mode, don’t select the other two options
Now select your leagues and nations as normal and enjoy the game
Note for Steam users, the author of this database has made it clear that this database will not be coming to the Steam Workshop
