Week 6 Fantasy Football Rankings: Latest Position-by-Position Rundown0 of 4

Fantasy football leaderboards to start the 2024 season have been populated by familiar faces as well as several surprising players at the top.

Lamar Jackson averaging the most standard fantasy points per week among quarterbacks through five games to open the year doesn’t come as a surprise, although Jayden Daniels and Baker Mayfield ranking No. 2 and No. 3 certainly does (via FantasyPros).

Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley owning two of the top three spots among running backs in standard leagues also isn’t shocking. However, it was difficult to imagine Alvin Kamara and Jordan Mason sitting within the top five entering the year.

With a loaded Sunday slate that features multiple matchups between teams chasing playoff spots, here are the latest rankings at all of the four skill positions as well as a sleeper for each in Week 6.

Lamar Jackson, BAL (vs. WAS)Jayden Daniels, WAS (at BAL)Jalen Hurts, PHI (vs. CLE)Jordan Love, GB (vs. ARI)Joe Burrow, CIN (at NYG)Josh Allen, BUF (at NYJ)Kyler Murray, ARI (at GB)Dak Prescott, DAL (vs. DET)Justin Fields, PIT (at LV)Kirk Cousins, ATL (at CAR)Sleeper: Daniel Jones, NYG (vs. CIN)

While standout rookie Malik Nabers will miss his second consecutive game due to a concussion, Jones could still have a big day through the air against a porous Bengals pass defense. Cincinnati owns the league’s second-worst scoring defense and has allowed opposing quarterbacks to average 274 passing yards per game over the past three weeks.

Jones is also coming off an efficient performance in Week 5 against the Seahawks, finishing 23-of-34 for 257 yards and two touchdowns.

Derrick Henry, BAL (vs. WAS)Saquon Barkley, PHI (vs. CLE)David Montgomery, DET (at DAL)
Josh Jacobs, GB (vs. ARI)
Bijan Robinson, ATL (at CAR)
Alvin Kamara, NO (vs. TB)
Jahmyr Gibbs, DET (at DAL)
James Conner, ARI (at GB)
Breece Hall, NYJ (vs. BUF)
Tony Pollard, TEN (vs. IND)
Sleeper: Bucky Irving, TB (at NO)

With Rachaad White currently listed as doubtful, Irving could be in line for a larger role than usual on Sunday as he continues his impressive rookie campaign.

He’s already racked up 247 yards in five games while splitting carries with White, averaging 5.6 yards per attempt. He could also provide value in PPR leagues with more playing time, as he’s recorded eight catches for 46 yards to begin his NFL career.

Wide Receiver 3 of 4

Ja’Marr Chase, CIN (at NYG)CeeDee Lamb, DAL (vs. DET)
Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (at DAL)
DJ Moore, CHI (vs. JAX)
Drake London, ATL (at CAR)
A.J. Brown, PHI (vs. CLE)
Jayden Reed, GB (vs. ARI)
Stefon Diggs, HOU (at NE)Mike Evans, TB (at NO)Tee Higgins, CIN (at NYG)Sleeper: Zay Flowers, BAL (vs. WAS)

While it’s important not to put too much stock into single-game performances, it’s still worth noting that Flowers hauled in seven receptions for 111 yards against the Bengals in Week 5. He was also targeted a team-high 12 times, with Rashod Bateman earning the second-most with eight.

The Ravens and Commanders own the two best scoring offenses in the league, setting the stage for a potential shootout in Week 6 that could result in another big game for Flowers.

Brock Bowers, LV (vs. PIT)
Sam LaPorta, DET (at DAL)
Trey McBride, ARI (at GB)
Kyle Pitts, ATL (at CAR)
Dalton Kincaid, BUF (at NYJ)
Jake Ferguson, DAL (vs. DET)
Tucker Kraft, GB (vs. ARI)
Pat Freiermuth, PIT (at LV)
Isaiah Likely, BAL (vs. WAS)Dallas Goedert, PHI (vs. CLE)Sleeper: Hunter Henry, NE (vs. HOU)

Henry has been targeted just 13 total times over the last three weeks, but his individual production could increase due to the Patriots’ upcoming quarterback change. With rookie Drake Maye set to start the first regular-season game of his career, he could rely on Henry as a safety blanket over the middle of the field.

The 29-year-old also has a big performance under his belt in 2024, catching eight passes for 109 yards in Week 2.
