How to play Daily Dordle
Daily Dordle is fairly simple to play. You’ll be given two options of what to play, and to be clear, our list is for the Daily Dordle:
Head to the Daily Dordle by zaratustra site
Click on the Daily Dordle – the other option is the ultimate mode that lets you play forever
You’re done!
If you want to know how the mechanics of the game work, we have you covered.
You have seven attempts to guess two words
Like Wordle, green means correct and in position, yellow means correct but wrong position, and gray means the word is no in either word
Once you guess a word, any green letters in both words will remain fully green on your keyboard but will go half-gray if they are only in one word
Daily Dordle Tips
Good Starting Words
There are several really good starting words to use for Dordle, and honestly, you could probably pick two and cover a lot of bases. The following words are solid because they include some really common letters. R, S, T, A, and E are really common, and even if just one is present, knowing where it is could make or break the word.
Another key element is vowel variety and aiming to hit two vowels at least in each guess. Another key area is the positioning of the words. Roate and Stare are good examples as they put several common letters in common spots.
If you want to pick the “best” word, Soare is often considered the best word for any 5-letter puzzle game. Most players who played a lot of Worlde found early on that Soare was a bit of a cheat code simply because it covered so many key bases.
Below is a full list of words, we’ll add to it over time but these are some of the best we found.
Raise
Dough
Salet
Pouty
Soare
Roate
Saree
Seare
Stare
Focus on one Word
While the aim is to solve two words, don’t get bogged down trying to solve them both in one guess. Focus on one word, ideally, the one that you get the most yellow/green letters for after your first guess. Once you have that in hand, start working out that word, don’t try to think of words that fit both sides of the board. Once you have one word nailed down, it makes the rest of the game a lot easier. Remember, you have seven guesses here for a reason, make use of them to help you solve the puzzle.
Key Features of Daily Dordle
Some key features of Daily Dordle:
At its core, Dordle is Wordle x 2. While a simple idea in concept, Dordle is a real challenge
Dordle is a deceptively challenging puzzle. While you do get seven attempts, the game plays out differently based on the two words rarely being similar
Seven attempts to get the words can quickly get on top of you
A second “ultimate” mode lets you practice Dordle as many times as you like to get a feel for how the game works
Colour-coded feedback helps work out what words feature on each side
The game was made by indie developer Zaratustra Productions
Is Daily Dordle Free?
Yes, it is. There are a number of versions but it is a free daily word puzzle. You can also play the endless mode which you can repeat all day if you so choose. Though, we can’t provide you the answers for that as well, sadly. And remember, this is for the Daily Dorble by zaratustra.
