Bills QB Josh Allen joins exclusive NFL club in Week 6 win vs. Jets

The Buffalo Bills ended their brief two-game skid by defeating the division-rival New York Jets 23-20 in New York. It was a much-needed bounce back performance for the Bills, as well as a big game for Josh Allen. After going 9-of-30 in their Week 5 loss to the Houston Texans, Allen went 19-of-25 for 215 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score, as well. In doing so, Allen continued to make history.

Allen became just the fifth player since 1933 to have at least 10 total touchdowns and zero interceptions through six games, per ESPN.

After a league-leading 18 interceptions last season, it’s evident that Allen has done all he can to still be his aggressive self, but do so in a manner that doesn’t put the ball in harm’s way.

Buffalo will take their 4-2 record back home after a three-game road trip where they will host the Tennessee Titans. And with a two-game lead over both the Dolphins and Jets, a few wins could have the AFC East all but wrapped up before November.
