Watford brutally troll Luton over Kenilworth Road stadium that was branded ‘a shambles’ in talkSPORT ranking
Watford increased the tension ahead of their clash against rivals Luton Town by mocking their home ground Kenilworth Road.
But the Hornets’ pre-match dig came back to bite them hard, as the Hatters thrashed them 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Their home, Kenilworth Road, was built in 1905 and is famed for its old school appearance and an away end entrance that traverses over the backs of terraced houses.
talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham isn’t the biggest fan of Luton’s stadium, as he ranked it 22nd out of all 24 teams in the Championship.

And Luton’s bitter rivals Watford weren’t shy to mockingly take aim at the ground just hours before they kick off in Bedfordshire.
In a video posted on X with the caption ‘Taking in the sights’, footage of the pouring rain was filmed in the local area.
This included streams of water that appeared to be falling inside the stadium concourse as well as the outside areas.
Watford captured what was a gloomy setting amid the poor weather and their video ended at the away end entrance after a clip of a discarded can that was lying on the wet road.
Luton will boast a more modern home ground in the future after announcing their successful application for a new 25,000 capacity stadium.
But the Hornets certainly did enough to get in their opponent’s head before the match – but the real talking was done on the pitch.

However, the Hatters had endured a difficult start to life back in the Championship having won just two of their opening nine matches.
They enter the derby against Watford off the back of a winless run of three matches and just a point above the relegation zone in 21st.

Watford were 15 spots above them in the play-off spots despite winning only two of their past six Championship fixtures.
And it’s been 18 years since they last won at Kenilworth Road though and they’ve failed to score in their last two visits.
Unfortunately for Watford’s social media admin, that record has extended.
Luton sealed a convincing 3-0 victory, with Jordan Clark, Carlton Morris and Jacob Brown scoring to fire the Hatters to derby day victory.
