Since President Joe Biden ended his 2024 campaign and Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off her own in late July, many prominent voices in American culture have rallied around Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee—making her and her and Tim Walz’s path to the White House feel just a little smoother. (The billion dollars her campaign has raised in that time hasn’t hurt, either.) Here, find a running list of celebrities who have publicly shown their support for a Harris ticket so far.

Beyoncé and Kelly RowlandAt a campaign in her hometown of Houston, Texas, on October 25, Beyoncé took the stage to introduce Vice President Harris with Kelly Rowland. “Welcome to this day…a moment with weight and meaning for our country, for our people, and for the world,” Rowland told the crowd. “A moment, Houston, where we grab back the pen from those who are trying to write an American story of division and hatred.”

“Vice President Kamala Harris [is] a woman who has been pushing for what this country really needs right now: unity,” Beyoncé added later. “We are at the precipice of an incredible shift, the brink of history.”

Leonardo DiCaprioOn October 25, DiCaprio posted a video to his Instagram account underscoring the grave dangers of climate change—and former President Donald Trump’s role in weakening environmental protections. “That’s why I’ll be voting for Kamala Harris,” he noted. “She helped lead the most significant climate action in US history, including passing the Inflation Reduction Act. Under her leadership, we set ambitious targets for achieving net-zero emissions by 2025, and building a green economy that not only creates jobs, but also helps save our planet.”

Sarah Jessica ParkerOn October 23, Parker posted a photo of herself holding a Harris/Walz sign to Instagram, along with a list of reasons she’s voting for the Democratic duo: “For common sense gun laws / For a living wage / For opportunity / For women / …For a certain childless cat lady I play on TV / With an abundance of joy, optimism and pride / I am voting for Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz.” The original Carrie Bradshaw may not have been registered to vote, but the Carrie of And Just Like That… knows better!

EminemYou might not have expected Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” to emerge as a Harris/Walz anthem, but that’s exactly what happened at a rally in Michigan that just so happened to feature (you guessed it) Barack Obama rapping the 2002 hit. Hey, whatever works!

Bruce SpringsteenNo less an authority on the American way than the Boss himself has officially thrown his weight behind the Harris/Walz campaign, even cohosting a benefit concert in Philadelphia alongside former president Barack Obama ahead of Election Day.

Billie Eilish and FinneasOn August 17—National Voter Registration Day—the O’Connell siblings posted a video message to social media pledging their support to the Harris-Walz campaign. “We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy,” Eilish says in the post. “We cannot let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them, and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda, is to vote and elect Kamala Harris,” Finneas adds.

Taylor Swift“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift confirmed in a message posted to Instagram on the evening of September 10, shortly after the first debate between Vice President Harris and Donald Trump. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.” In a nod to controversial comments made by JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, in 2021, she signed off the endorsement: “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady.”

Cynthia Nixon“I’m Walzing on air!” raved the And Just Like That… actress and former New York gubernatorial candidate on August 6, after the news broke that Harris had chosen Walz as her running mate. (The relaxed energy of her sipping from a coconut doesn’t hurt, either.)

Carole KingThis legendary songstress is clearly fired up about the potential of a Harris presidency: On July 22, she shared a photo of herself and the vice president to Facebook (yes, Facebook…she is in her 80s, to be fair) accompanied by the words: “Right person. Right time. I stand with Kamala Harris.”

Justin VernonOn August 7, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon led his band in an acoustic rendition of “The Battle Cry of Freedom” and other songs at a Harris-Walz event in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, telling the assembled crowd that he wanted to end his set with “a nice old patriotic song that’s been rolling around in my head these last months.”

Christie Brinkley“Sometimes the best man for the job is a WOMAN,” the model wrote on Instagram shortly after Biden left the race, sharing an image of Harris as Rosie the Riveter. Brinkley added: “@kamalaharris for the people!! And we the people for Kamala Harris!!”

John LegendLegend and his wife, model and author Chrissy Teigen, are known for supporting progressive causes, so it’s no surprise that Legend quickly came out in support of the Harris campaign. “I’m grateful for the grace and patriotism [Biden] has shown by choosing to step aside for the sake of the country,” he wrote in a statement posted to Instagram. “I’m so ready to work to help unite the pro-democracy coalition to reject Trump’s authoritarian, oppressive Project 2025 and elect Kamala Harris as our President. She’s ready for this fight and I’m excited to help her in any way I can.” A few weeks later, in a tribute to Governor Walz (and, more generally, the state of Minnesota), Legend would take the stage during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago to perform a rousing cover of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.”

Megan Thee Stallion and QuavoOn July 30, the two stars joined Vice President Harris for a rally at the Georgia State Convocation Center in Atlanta. While Megan performed a 10-minute set before announcing, “I’m so happy to be here, Atlanta. We about to make history with the first female president—the first Black female president. Let’s get this done, Hotties. Hotties for Harris,” Quavo—who had hosted a summit against gun violence attended by the vice president in June— took the stage to help introduce Harris herself. “This city has always been home to me…so one of these issues that I care about is resolving [gun violence],” he said. “You can’t understand the struggles of gun violence if you’re not in the field or the heart of it. One thing I learned about Vice President Harris is she always stands on business… So if you’ve never voted before, make sure you get out and vote right now, because this is the real one.”

Barack and Michelle ObamaFormer president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama called nominee Harris personally to share their support. The warm conversation—filled with mutual respect and excitement for the future—was shared via Harris’s YouTube channel. “We called to say Michelle and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse you and do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office,” the former president said. Michelle Obama went on to add: “I am proud of you. This is going to be historic.”

Charli XCXThe British pop star tweeted what appeared to be an endorsement of Harris for president on July 21, leading many to wonder whether the power of brat summer could be harnessed for political gain.

Jamie Lee Curtis“I support wholeheartedly @joebiden and his decision to step down and to endorse unreservedly @kamalaharris. SHE IS TRUSTED AND TESTED and she is a fierce advocate for women’s rights and people of color and her message is one of HOPE and UNITY for America [at a] time of great national divide,” Curtis wrote in an endorsement posted to X on July 21.

Spike Lee“ONCE AGAIN A SISTA COMES TO DA RESCUE,” the director wrote on Instagram on July 21.

Rosie O’DonnellO’Donnell showed her support for Harris across several posts on Instagram, among them a shot of the vice president’s recent Time magazine cover and a meme that read “Childless Cat Ladies for HARRIS 2024.”

Shonda Rhimes“I stood behind her in 2016 when she ran for Senate, I was behind her when she ran as @vp and I continue to stand behind her today,” the Grey’s Anatomy and Bridgerton creator wrote on Instagram on July 21.

Aaron SorkinHours after publishing a guest essay in the New York Times suggesting that the Democratic Party tap Mitt Romney as their candidate, Sorkin used Josh Malina’s X account to release a statement in support of the vice president: “I take it all back. Harris for America!”

Wanda SykesThe comedian kept her support for Harris simple, captioning a portrait of the vice president, “Let’s go!!!” on Instagram on July 21.

Barbra Streisand“President Biden and Vice President Harris ushered this nation out of the Trump chaos,” Streisand told the New York Times on July 22. “She will work to restore women’s reproductive freedom and continue with the accomplishments begun in the Biden-Harris administration.”

George Clooney“President Biden has shown what true leadership is,” Clooney said in a statement on July 23. “He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”

Sheryl Lee RalphEveryone’s favorite Abbott Elementary star came out loud and proud for Harris, writing on X on July 24: “It’s a wonderful Wendesday and we all feel it! Register to VOTE for President Harris.”

Busy PhilippsOn July 24, the actor took to Instagram to promote Answer the Call, a campaign “to organize, galvanize and mobilize white women to show up with their human, social and financial capital in the name of electing VP Kamala Harris America’s next – and first woman – president.”

George TakeiThe Star Trek actor, who has long been a champion of LGBTQ+ rights, was clearly fired up about a potential Harris presidency. “I’m OUT for Kamala Harris and you should be, too!” he tweeted on July 24.
