He went as far as to insist to WWE Head of Creative Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque that he be made ‘the guy’ next year, just three years removed from his wrestling debut.

Back in 2022, he teamed with The Miz to meet Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38 before going on to embark on one of the most successful and impressive early runs of any wrestler in history.

Speaking to Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan on his Impaulsive podcast, the 29-year-old shared the story of the first time he touched a wrestling ring, and found it to feel a little firmer than expected.

He explained: “Something I’ve noticed about wrestling is that it really hurts me. It’s just so hard, Liv. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. [People] have no idea.

“Let me tell you something; the first thing I did, as is everyone when they get around a WWE ring, I went up and went: ‘let’s see how bouncy this mat is.’

“I touch it and it didn’t move at all. I was like, to the Miz: ‘Wait, y’all are really.. this is what we’re falling on? Where’s the bouncy mat?’

“He’s like: ‘Nah, man, this is it.’

“I guess I didn’t expect it to be that hard, literally and in general. How are you not, and all the women in general, not in more pain? It’s hard for me and I’m a tough guy!”

Liv Morgan was the latest high-profile guest on Logan Paul’s podcastCredit: YouTube/ImpaulsiveMorgan observed that Logan’s status as a part-time performer who doesn’t necessarily wrestle on a regular basis each week may be the cause of his greater discomfort.

“October 27th is my ten years in WWE,” she added. Maybe it’s just the callous of my body just consistently being put through it?

“Also, I think it hurts more when you’re not full time. When you dibble dabble and, as tense as you go, you’re going to feel it more than me who is doing it three nights a week.”

Stunned Logan Paul jumps from his seat as he describes watching jelly roll chokeslam Austin Theory

Paul nodded vigorously in agreement, saying: “That is true, that is totally true. I’ve noticed that – when I’m more regular, it actually hurts less.”

The two then traded injury stories from across their careers before Paul firmly fired back“ Injuries have f***** me up, so I pray that you stay healthy.

“I’ve not been doing this for nearly as long as you and, like I said, it hurts.”
