RSI Redefines Poker with Phil Galfond-Backed Online Platform

Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a leading online casino and sports betting company, has announced the official launch of its new online poker platform in Pennsylvania. Developed in close partnership with pro poker player Phil Galfond, the platform seeks to offer experiences designed by players for players.

By Players for Players

According to RSI, its BetRivers platform, has been created by leveraging poker pros’ feedback. This hands-on involvement has ensured that every feature will suit the tastes of the poker community.

RSI cited Galfond’s involvement as a key differentiator. The company elaborated that he was more than an ambassador and actually took a part in the platform’s design and development. Lauding Galfond as an “industry innovator,” the company noted that his input is certain to meet poker players’ needs at all levels of play.

Galfond himself commented on the matter, saying that player experience sat at the forefront of this development.

From the amateur playing their very first hand to the sophisticated pro, everyone was kept in mind as we focused on fairness, excitement, and generous rewards that truly benefit the player. I’ve been heavily involved in the game design, promotions, and policy decisions, and, more importantly, in building an incredible team that sees online poker the way I do.

Incredible Features and Gameplay Await

RSI continued that the new BetRivers Poker platform includes a variety of game formats, including cash games, Sit & Go Tournaments and Multi-Table Tournaments.

Players can also look forward to a variety of features such as Dynamic Avatars, which will provide players with information about their opponents’ play styles by adopting expressions based on participants’ behavior.

Poker enthusiasts who are looking for a quick opportunity to win big should also look out for the Cub3d Sit and Go Tournaments, which provide ways to win up to 1500x the buy-in in minutes.

The new online platform will complement RSI’s land-based poker rooms, providing players with additional ways to enjoy poker. This omnichannel approach aligns with RSI’s desire to offer players different ways to play and win.

RSI Hopes to Launch the Platform in More States

Speaking of winning, BetRivers Poker will offer one of the lowest rakes in the Commonwealth, providing more value to players with every hand. In addition to that, players can also benefit from the BetRivers iRush Rewards program, which allows them to win points with every wager and redeem them for unique prizes.

BetRivers Poker will be extensively promoted by RSI and is set to participate in a collaboration with RSI’s Poker Night in America (PNIA) series. The additional exposure seeks to quickly introduce the revolutionary platform to new players.

For now, BetRivers Poker will only be available to players in Pennsylvania but RSI hopes to launch it in other states too.

RSI executives commented on the launch. Richard Schwartz, CEO of the company, expressed excitement about BetRivers Poker going live and said that he hopes the new offering will bridge the gap between the BetRivers digital and Rivers Casino offerings.

By aligning with Rush Street Gaming’s strong retail presence, we are able to leverage our combined strengths to offer a truly unique poker experience that benefits players and drives growth across our entire portfolio.
