Stalker 2 Is Now Available To Download On Xbox, But You’ll Need A Lot Of Free Space

This is a chonker!

It’s finally almost time for Stalker 2! The highly-anticipated Xbox console exclusive (at least for now!) arrives via Xbox Game Pass on Wednesday, November 20th, and preloads have begun today – meaning you can begin installing it.

And wow – we weren’t expecting it to be quite this large! On Xbox Series X, we’re getting a figure of 147.6 GB, placing Stalker 2 amongst the likes of Call of Duty, Baldur’s Gate 3 and NBA 2K as some of the largest titles available on Xbox.

The good news is that even if you haven’t bought Stalker 2 yet, or you don’t have Xbox Game Pass, the game can still be downloaded via the Xbox mobile app – simply by searching for the name and then hitting “Download to Console”.

We’re assuming most Pure Xbox readers will be grabbing this with Game Pass though, in which case you’ll need to go to the Xbox Game Pass app on your console, look for the “Coming Soon” section, find Stalker 2, and then hit “Pre-Install All”. If you haven’t got enough space, don’t forget it’ll be available with Xbox Cloud Gaming as well.

Will you be pre-loading Stalker 2 ahead of its Xbox release next week? Tell us down in the comments below.
