Rag & Bone Pre-Fall 2025 Menswear

ā€œI think most designers would agree that pre-fall is one of the hardest collections to design,ā€ Robert Geller said at Rag & Boneā€™s menswear presentation. ā€œYou donā€™t have all the good stuff, the outerwear and layering to work with.ā€ Instead Geller worked on pieces that could be layered, using light fabrications and innovative technology like Miramar, Airflex, and more.

Staying true to his laissez-faire style, Geller created easy-to-wear sets in linen tailoring, sporty terry sweatsuits, and sleek and comfortable nylon shirting and chinos. He paid extra attention to how men would wear these clothes in the real world by adding functional details, like plenty of pockets, to the clothes. ā€œMen need pockets. You need places to put your phones, keys, and things because we often donā€™t wear bags,ā€ said Geller.

For a designer who cares as much about beautiful clothes as he does about the practical aspect, his philosophy this season was all about ease. ā€œWhat weā€™re doing at Rag & Bone is that we have a lot of fabric innovation and fabrications that donā€™t wrinkle. Most of it is very unfussy, but you still look quite dressed up.ā€
