On Monday, November 11, Smith took to Instagram to share a video with her followers. In the clip, she explained that she is producing a Christmas film. However, she added that she’s also trying something new and droppin’ her vocals on the film’s soundtrack. Before concluding, Smith told her followers that she had been taking vocal lessons once a day for the past two weeks.

Furthermore, in a subsequent clip shared via Instagram, Smith showed an inside look at her studio session.

“I DID IT! First day in the studio. IM SO PROUD OF ME. Wait…I’ve been in the studio a thousand times but never ever on this side of the glass. I can’t believe it… Can’t wait to finish the song…”
