MORE: Who is on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson undercard?
While he appears to have bulked up considerably for this heavyweight eight-rounder, Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) has never fought above the cruiserweight limit.
The Ohio native was 200 pounds on the nose for his sixth-round TKO win over Mike Perry in July and was at a career-lowest 185 pounds for Tommy Fury in February of last year.
Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) has been out of the ring for almost 20 years and heās 58 years old. With that being the case, guessing a weight for the former two-time heavyweight champion isnāt easy.
In his heyday, Tyson weighed roughly 215 pounds, but he was 233 for that ignominious defeat at the hands of Kevin McBride in 2005.
Expect him to come in at the highest weight of his career for this.
The Sporting News will provide live updates from the weigh-in and post official numbers for the main undercard bouts.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson weigh-in results6:40 p.m. ET | 3:40 p.m. PT | 11:40 p.m. GMT:Ā The weigh-in show will be getting underway soon and now would be a good time to cover the numbers that Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have registered in the past.
This will be the first time that Paul has campaigned in the heavyweight division. Up until now, “The Problem Child” has competed exclusively in the cruiserweight division and he has never exceeded 200 pounds. His lightest weight for a fight was 185 pounds.
In his prime, Tyson weighed approximately 215 pounds, but that was in the 1980s. In the latter part of his career, the former champion exceeded the 230-pound mark. Judging by his current size and physique, many expect Tyson to come at the heaviest weight of his career.
