Nick Sirianni knows how to win

With the Eagles notching their seventh win a row on Sunday night, Nick Sirianni is now 43-19 as Philly’s head coach, and ranks fifth NFL all-time in winning percentage at .694.

Sirianni has taken a lot of heat during his tenure in Philly. Whether it was his introductory press conference, or making questionable fourth down calls instead of kicking a field goal, there’s been plenty for fans to nitpick about. But, when it comes to what matters most, winning, he’s done it more consistently than any other head coach in Eagles history.

For the first time in franchise history, the Eagles have started 9-2 or better in three consecutive seasons, and Sirianni is the first Eagles head coach to have a winning record in each of his first four seasons with the team.

For those that had Sirianni on the hot seat after a 2-2 start, there’s no way that Jeffrey Lurie or Howie Roseman pull the plug after the head coach has been able to adjust and correct things following the bye week. It seems like he and his players learned something from their 2023 collapse, and will hopefully avoid a repeat situation in 2024.

With the Eagles catching their stride at the right time this season, things are only looking up for Sirianni and Co. And if he keeps winning at this rate, he’ll go down in the history books as one of the best to do it.
