Luke Littler is through!

The Nuke saved his best form for the dying embers of the match, but he found his best form when it counted.

Ryan Joyce pushed him all the way, but it is Littler who advances to the quarter-finals after pinning D12 – his fourth attempt at a match dart.

He averaged 103 and will now play Nathan Aspinall in the last eight.

That concludes another magical day at the Alexandra Palace.

Still alive Littler (3) 2-1 Joyce (3)

Oooooooo, so close for Luke Littler, but he can’t take out the match darts.

The Nuke misses one at D16 and one at D8 to win the game.

That leaves Ryan Joyce with 56, and he pins single 20 before going for his favoured D18, which he nails.

Littler has the throw for the match…

What a startLittler (3) 1-0 Joyce (3)

Luke Littler starts the deciding set with six perfect darts to set up the nine-darter.

He misses the seventh T20, but it doesn’t matter as he wraps things up with his 11th dart at D20.

That is exactly how he needed to start the set.
