Golden Globes 2025 Red Carpet: See Every Outfit and Look
Thanks to the Golden Globes 2025 red carpet, the New Year is off to a stylish start. For the sartorial set, the Golden Globes 2025 were more than a celebration of achievements in both film and television; they also marked the start of awards show season, a time of year when the forecast calls for glamorous looks, a tear-jerking acceptance speech or two, and history-making wins, no matter the weather.
On Sunday, the Golden Globes 2025 were broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, with comedian Nikki Glaser serving as host and the ceremony airing on both CBS and Paramount+. This year Emilia PĂ©rez led the Golden Globes 2025âs film nominations with 10 nods. Itâs important to note that the Jacques Audiardâdirected movie, which stars Karla SofĂa GascĂłn, Zoe Saldaña, Ădgar RamĂrez, and the recently engaged Selena Gomez, earned the highest number of Globe nominations ever bestowed upon a musical or comedy. At the end of the night, Emilia PĂ©rez was the big winner, taking home four awards: best non-English language film, best film, comedy or musical, best song and best supporting actress for Zoe Saldaña.
Just behind Emilia PĂ©rez was The Brutalist, Brady Corbetâs three-hour-and-35-minute two-part architecture epic with Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, and Joe Alwyn. It won best motion picture, drama, best director for Corbet and best actor for Brody â who was competing against TimothĂ©e Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Daniel Craig (Queer), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave), and Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice) for the honor.
Meanwhile, The Bear, the Jeremy Allen Whiteâfronted dramedy costarring Ayo Edebiri, led the television categories with five nominations. White won best actor but was not present to receive his award. Only Murders in the Building and ShĆgun were just behind it with four nominations each and ultimately, ShĆgun won best television series, drama, best supporting actor for Tadanobu Asano, best actor for Hiroyuki Sanada, and best actress for Anna Sawai.
Categories that honored individual actors were stacked with high-profile nominees; in best performance by an actress in a drama motion picture, Angelina Jolie (Maria), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door), Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Fernanda Torres (Iâm Still Here), and Kate Winslet (Lee) are all competing to take home the honor. Torres won.
But hours before the winners were announced, all eyes were on the red carpet fashion, outfits, and looks from the 2025 Golden Globes. Ayo Edebiri channeled Julia Roberts’ iconic Golden Globes look from 1990. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo traded their signature pink and green Wicked-themed fits for a whole new color palette. Newly engaged Selena Gomez wore a custom satin powder blue Prada ballgown and diamonds from Tiffany. And Adam Brody and Leighton Meester wore complementary shades of green.
