Shai Gilgeous-Alexander reportedly complained of soreness in his wrist on Friday morning. Later, he was placed on the report under a âQuestionableâ status. The wrist sprain later caused the player to be declared âOUTâ from the matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. This proved harmful, as the No. 1 seeding team on the Western Conference chart lost by a 106-98 score. With no further updates on his recovery, Gilgeous-Alexanderâs availability remains under 50-50 odds.

Fortunately, Gilgeous-Alexanderâs condition isnât as bad as some of his peers. After all, four other players are listed alongside him on the report, all of them âOUTâ for the upcoming game. Chet Holmgren last played for the OKC a little before mid-November and was sidelined after sustaining a fractured hip.

Isaiah Hartenstein had sustained a left soleus strain during Tuesdayâs matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. The partially torn ACL that Nikola Topic had sustained in May 2024 continues to be a bother and will keep him away most likely for the entirety of the 2024-25 season. Meanwhile, Ajay Mitchell will miss his 8 consecutive game after sustaining a turf toe sprain in his right big toe. After having undergone a successful procedure, Mitchell will reportedly be re-evaluated in 10-to-12 weeks.
