A match made in…Kris Jenner’s phone, probably. Yep, it’s Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet. Their relationship timeline begins in 2023, when sparks apparently flew at Paris Fashion Week.
It was a shocking pairing: Chalamet, one of the most promising young stars in Hollywood and already an A-lister with a slew of nominations and box office hits to his name, and Kylie Jenner, of Keeping Up With the Kardashians fame, seemed to operate in separate worlds. Though the two seem quite different on paper, however, Ky has been on Tim’s arm for two Golden Globes in a row now, suggesting the pair are seriously entangled.

2025January 17, 2025: A source tells People that Jenner is “having fun supporting” Chalamet during awards season. “She enjoys attending the events with him,” the source says. “She knows that his career is so important to him. She wants to be by his side for it all.”
The source says Jenner is “really making an effort” to spend time with Chalamet, adding, “Kylie is the happiest. They are very serious. Everyone in her family loves him.”
January 16, 2025: Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner may moved past the dress-alike stage of their relationship, but the A Complete Unknown star might be taking style cues from a totally different member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
On January 16, the 29-year-old actor is spotted signing autographs in Paris in a sporty Las Vegas Raiders windbreaker, loose-fitting jeans, white sneakers, and a silver-studded belt, topping off the casual look with a Chanel scarf and dainty denim purse from the French luxury brand. While the teeny-tiny quilted Chanel bag is notable in and of itself, some fans suspect he borrowed it from Kylie’s daughter Stormi, who boasts a pretty impressive designer bag collection for a six-year-old. After all, it’s about the same size as the little red Chanel purse Jenner and Travis Scott’s daughter once received from DJ Kahled
“I’d be playing in Kylie’s closet too, mhm,” one user wrote of Chalamet’s outfit on X.com, to which another user replied, “Babe that is Stormi’s purse.”
One fan joked that Chalamet was “playing in Stormi’s closet while she’s at school,” while another wrote, “He asked Stormie if he can borrow her coin purse.”
January 15, 2025: The pair are spotted together following the Paris premiere of A Complete Unknown.
January 5, 2025: Now we’re cookin’. At the Golden Globes, Jenner and Chalamet look happy, in love, and more importantly, social.
If Kylie wasn’t about the photo life last year, this year she is, snapping selfies with his A Complete Unknown costars Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro. The couples doesn’t walk the carpet together, but Jenner looks fantastic in Elizabeth Hurley’s Versace gown.

January 4, 2025: Jenner accompanies Chalamet to the Palm Springs International Film Festival, though they aren’t pictured together except for one blurry shot you can see here. A red-carpet interviewer dares to mention her to Timmy’s face, but he brushes past it in his response.
2024December 30, 2024: “They had an early Christmas celebration together before Kylie spent Christmas Day with her family,” a source confirms to People. “It took Kylie a long time to introduce him to her kids. He’s part of the family now, though. Her kids know him as a ‘friend.’ Her relationship with him is great and very easy. He’s super supportive of her priorities and he works around her schedule a lot. They are both committed to making it work.”
December 23, 2024: An insider reveals to Page Six that the stars had a “magical” holiday moment with her two kids. “They had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights…The kids had a really magical time, and Kylie and Timothée made some very special memories together,” the insider says adding that though they “aren’t going to be together on Christmas Day this year, they made sure to celebrate beforehand and even exchanged some gifts.”
“Timothée not only got Kylie gifts, but also got some for the kids, which Kylie thought was so sweet and thoughtful,” added the source. “Kylie and Timothée are both going to be with their families for Christmas, but they’re going to stay connected despite being apart” via “FaceTiming, texting and calling.”
“Kylie and Timothée are constantly in communication even when they’re apart. Their relationship is stronger than ever, and they deeply care for one another,” the source continued, explaining that they “love each other very much” and are “enjoying keeping things out of the spotlight as much as possible for the time being, especially since so much of their lives are in the public eye. They like having this aspect of it to themselves for now.”

October 2, 2024: A source tells People that Chalamet and Jenner are “just a great couple” and “everyone loves them together.”
“He’s close with her family and she’s close with his family,” the insider added, saying, “It’s very serious, but also a fun relationship. They’ve really been able to figure out a good balance between working and spending quality time together.”
Basically all of 2024: Believe it or not, the pair are apparently going strong despite there being zero evidence of this. She still doesn’t follow him on Instagram (he doesn’t follow anyone), and Chalamet doesn’t utter a word about Jenner on either his Dune 2 or A Complete Unknown press tours. Despite the KarJenners’ pattern of oversharing, we don’t catch anyone in the family saying anything about him, either, save for the occasional “source” reassuring a friendly publication that they’re still together. And Pauline Chalamet and Kylie Jenner appear to be happy to see each other at Paris Fashion Week.
January 7, 2024: Chalamet and Jenner treat the 2024 Golden Globe Awards as date night. Though Jenner did not walk the red carpet with Chalamet, who was nominated for his performance in Wonka, she met him inside, where the pair were seated together.
During commercial breaks, the couple was caught kissing, caressing, and generally looking lovestruck. But that wasn’t the most newsworthy moment of the evening. That came later, when amateur lip readers began speculating that Selena Gomez was denied a selfie with her former costar, Chalamet, by Jenner. The matter was eventually resolved after both Gomez and Chalamet claimed they had no interaction with one another during the ceremony.
2023December 24, 2023: Chalamet appears to attend the Kardashians’ annual Christmas Eve party. In the background of a SnapChat photo shared by Travis Barker’s son, Landon, a man who looks suspiciously like the Wonka actor can be seen leaning in to chat with Jenner.
Though Jenner herself never confirmed Chalamet’s attendance, fans also speculate that her party outfit—a custom gold-sequined Dolce & Gabbana dress—is a nod to her bf’s latest film, Wonka, which is scheduled to be released the next day on Christmas. “Kylie is the golden ticket,” commented one fan on a TikTok that the 26-year-old shared of her outfit. “I mean she has looks, personality, love, the Sweetest kids and money what else could you want?”
December 10, 2023: The pair are still waiting for the perfect time for their red-carpet debut. Instead of joining Chalamet on the Wonka red carpet, the reality star and her mom snuck into the Los Angeles premiere through the back door. According to photos and video shared by The Daily Mail, Kylie wore a formfitting black turtleneck dress to her boyfriend’s big night. December 4, 2023: A source tells People that Jenner is finally ready to call Chalamet “her boyfriend.” The source says Jenner is “incredibly happy,” adding, “He is very good for Kylie. Since dating him, she seems very content, relaxed, and focused. Her family loves him.”
For Chalamet’s part, the source says he is “in awe of everything she is accomplishing” and “especially thinks she is an amazing mom.”
November 12, 2023: Jenner attends the Saturday Night Live after-party following Chalamet’s hosting gig.
November 1, 2023: Chalamet plays the role of plus-one at the Wall Street Journal Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards in New York City, where Jenner is honored with a Brand Innovator award for her new fashion label, Khy.

In one video shared by a Jenner fan account, the pair can be seen sitting next to each other at the celebration of Haider Ackermann’s beauty collaboration with Augustinus Bader. “I’ve never seen her look this happy and comfortable,” one viewer commented on the clip.
September 4, 2023: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are spotted together at Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour performance in Los Angeles. In one photo shared by TMZ, the pair can even be spotted making out. It’s real, guys.
September 1, 2023: Someone at Milan Fashion Week spots Jenner’s lock screen, and it’s a picture of Chalamet giving her a kiss on the cheek.
August 24, 2023: Despite recent Kylothée breakup rumors, Jenner is allegedly spotted at Chalamet’s home on August 24. According to photos shared by the Daily Mail, Jenner rolled up in her Mercedes after shopping in the area. Meanwhile, Deux Moi reports that Jenner and Chalamet have “not cooled off” but may not be “exclusive.”
July 28, 2023: Did Travis Scott just call out Chalamet and Jenner? The rapper appears to reference the rumored couple in his new song “Meltdown,” though he doesn’t mention Chalamet by name. Instead, the lyrics refer to Willy Wonka, whom Chalamet portrays in Wonka. “Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs),” he raps, per Genius. “Burn a athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me, bitch.”

June 14, 2023: Kylie Jenner fans think they spotted a hickey in the reality star’s latest Instagram photo dump. While showing off another un–Kylie Jenner dress in the fifth photo, the mogul can be seen holding her son while she walks to her car, but fans were fixated on an unidentified mark on her neck. “Am I the only one who peeps the hickey,” one fan asked, receiving 815 likes.
Another wrote, “Uhm ms kylie, we see that hickey.” That comment received over 1,000 likes, with one user responding, “I’m so happy someone else noticed that!” However, another fan suggested the mark could just be the shadow of Jenner’s earring….

June 1, 2023: The first Kylothée photos are here! On June 1, Page Six publishes a series of photos taken of Chalamet and Jenner throughout the month of May, including photos from a casual BBQ attended by the alleged couple’s sisters Kendall Jenner and Pauline Chalamet. Paparazzi also tell Page Six that the Kylie Cosmetics mogul spends “upwards of six days a week” at Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home. “Kylie and Timothée have been spending much more time together and they’re growing much closer as the days go by,” a source tells Us Weekly around this time. “Some of Kylie’s family members have met Timothée including Kris and Kendall. They really like him and think he’s different from anybody Kylie has dated in the past,” the source continued. “He has a great sense of humor, and he makes her smile which is the most important thing to them. They love seeing how happy she is and absolutely approve of them dating.”
May 25, 2023: After a quiet month, Jenner’s black Range Rover SVA is spotted leaving Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home just a few minutes after arriving around 10 a.m.
April 19, 2023: Per an Us Weekly report, Jenner hopes that her situation with Chalamet will help her move on from her ex and the father of her two children, Travis Scott. A source tells the outlet that Jenner has not moved on from Scott yet. “Kylie thinks Timothée is really sweet and she does see potential,” they said. “Kylie knows she and Travis will always be in each other’s lives, and they have an amazing co-parenting relationship. Part of her dating Timothée is in hopes of moving on from Travis, but that hasn’t happened yet. There’s always a possibility of reconciling with Travis at some point.”
Meanwhile, an alleged “Jenner source” tells People that the couple “hang out every week,” but also says, “It’s not serious.” Apparently, the pair has “a lot to chat about,” and the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan wants her to “move on” from Travis Scott. “Everyone in the family is happy and supportive of Kylie dating,” the source said.
April 17, 2023: A source confirms to ET that this is all real, just weeks ahead of the Met Gala. “They are keeping things casual at this point,” the source said. “It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.” How…fun! Neither Jenner nor Chalamet has confirmed the rumors themselves.
April 14, 2023: We have our first People report! A source tells the publication that Jenner and Chalamet “are hanging out and getting to know each other.” People is one of the more reliable sources of celebrity gossip, so this is a pretty big indicator that Kylothée is legit.
April 13, 2023: TMZ publishes photos of Jenner’s black Range Rover in the driveway of Chalamet’s house in Beverly Hills.
Following the initial relationship rumors, the Daily Mail reports that the pair had a “secret date night” in Los Angeles, picking up dinner from Tito’s Tacos.
April 6, 2023: The rumors start in the same place almost all celebrity gossip comes from these days: Deux Moi. The celebrity-sighting and blind-item Instagram account first posts about Kylothée on April 6 to its Stories and grid, writing, “NEW COUPLE ALERT,” with one of its anonymous sources claiming to have known about the couple since January.
The situation breaks everyone’s brains.
January 25, 2023: Jenner and Chalamet are first seen interacting at the Jean Paul Gaultier show at Paris Fashion Week. After relationship rumors begin circulating in early April, Deux Moi shared a resurfaced video of the pair laughing at the event.

December 2022: Kylie Jenner and on-and-off boyfriend Travis Scott reportedly break up sometime before New Year’s Eve. “They were supposed to spend the holidays together, but she went to Aspen to be with her family and friends up there,” a source tells Us Weekly. “This has happened so many times before; they’re known to be on-again, off-again, but always remain friends and great co-parents.” The pair share two children: five-year-old Stormi and one-year-old Aire Webster.
According to a People source, the pair split over misaligned priorities. “Kylie is very focused on her kids and her business,” the source says of the Kylie Cosmetics mogul. “She is not a big partier. Travis is the opposite. He likes to party. They definitely have different focuses. They always did.”
