It’s almost time for the Xbox Developer Direct! Yep, the 2025 edition of Microsoft’s dev-focused showcase returns this Thursday, with multiple titles confirmed for the show already.
In this guide, we’re going to tell you everything you need to know about the Xbox Developer Direct 2025 ahead of it airing in less than 24 hours’ time. Let’s get cracking!
What Games Will Be At Xbox Developer Direct 2025?
Microsoft has announced that four games will be at the Xbox Developer Direct 2025. However, the team has only confirmed what three of those games are: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, DOOM: The Dark Ages and South of Midnight.
So far, the fourth game of the showcase is being kept firmly under wraps over at Microsoft. Xbox says it will “visit a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game”, and aside from that teaser, we can only go on reports about what this title might be. There’s even rumours of a potential fifth game showing up as well!

The Xbox Developer Direct 2025 showcase kicks off at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on January 23rd. Going off the last two years of Xbox Dev Direct, we’re expecting the show to last around 45 minutes or so.
Where To Watch Xbox’s Developer Direct 2025 Showcase
Xbox will be hosting this year’s event across its usual social channels, including YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
