What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

In high school I played basketball and football I took basketball way more serious than football. Until I started getting offers to play football and none to play basketball this was my junior year of high school. So my senior year I decided football was my sport and I gave it my all my senior year and now we are here. I had amazing years playing football I impacted the field way more than the basketball court. I just had to realize it.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

1. My great granny came to my college football games this past year before passing away.

2. Breaking the 100-yard interception record in the playoffs against Mid-America.

3. Building bonds and relationships with my teammates/brothers.

4. Just my family supporting me throughout college a great moments for me.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m looking forward to playing at the next level if that’s UFL, or NFL. Continuing my journey as a football player. Showing teams, scouts, that every level has ball players and talent never goes unnoticed. I want to show that I am the best.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Past (Deion Sanders)- why because he is the goat at the cornerback position and getting knowledge and understanding for the cornerback position from the best is a dream come true.

Present (Patrick Surtain)-he is an absolute beast on that field the consistency he shows every year at the position is not unnoticed definitely not by me, he is great.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My sister Jamonika Walls inspires me the most. She’s doing a lot for herself to be young. She has a lot on her plate but it’s nothing that she can’t handle. She’s just genuine and kind and always wants to see me do big things with or without football. She is my favorite person.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I like man to man because I can lock on to this man and completely take him out of the play. That’s what I like to do.

What should we know about Dijion Walls the person?

I’m a cool laid back person, I like spending time with my loved ones and I love the game of football. I like perfecting my craft on and off the field. My duty is to be the best version of myself and always be myself and don’t change for nobody. I am Dijion Walls for a reason.

What stands out about your film the most?

I feel like I have plays of me playing the ball well I feel like that’s what they want to see more than anything else. Also I have film on there with me catching interceptions something else I feel like they would want to see.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

When I’m on the field I have short term memory I don’t linger on something. When I’m on the field I focus on being the best version of myself.

Off the field I mainly talk to my sister about everything to get another perspective on things. But I don’t think too hard about it. I talk about it and move on.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone that knows the game very well. A very confident player that knows his ability. Very, very dedicated player that is always willing to get better and learn from the players that are at the high level. A leader that lead by example and words.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

When I was younger I use to love watching the St.Louis Rams play and how dedicated and physical the sport was. I love football because it showed me that it was more to life than where I was from. I knew as a kid that football was my ticket to seeing a life outside of St.Louis.

The family atmosphere that you build while playing football is unmatched. The relationship you create is lifetime. It showed me that hard work is a constant thing and if you are not working, how are you expected to get better. Football is a life changing sport.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I would say Lennox Brown is the most underrated player I played.

The reason why I say Lennox is the most underrated player is because in 2023 he played QB and carried our offense all year and in the playoffs. In 2024 he played WR and had an amazing year. And didn’t get the recognition he deserved. Phenomenal player and athlete.
