What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I remember when I was 7 years old I wanted to start getting into sports. Football gave me structure, a purpose, and a way to express my passion for the sport. I just grew up watching the greats on TV and that’s when I knew I want to become a football player.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I remember winning back-to-back little league championships, my senior year in high school I returned a 90-yard old pick-six and my first-ever career college start.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I just want to continue to become great, keep improving on my game and also live my dream of playing pro football.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Deion Sanders, he’s the GOAT of DBs so I always watched his highlights and want to learn from him.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My grandma, because she was my favorite person I can talk to when I’m dealing with something and she raised me to be a disciplined person.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Playing the 4-2-5 defense is what I like. I thrive in systems where I can be physical, disrupt plays, and use my instincts to make an impact. I also pride on my versatility and ability to adapt to different schemes. I like to play man coverage and I believe that is one of my strengths as a DB.

What should we know about Jamon Williams the person?

Jamon Williams is someone who values hard work, discipline, and loyalty. I hold myself to a high standard, both on and off the field.

What stands out about your film the most?

My physicality, my athleticism, and my explosiveness. With me being 5’ 10” as a cornerback, I like play with relentless motor with me being a speedy player.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

It helps me grow more and more as a person in life, I handle them by just taking the coaching and apply it to real life.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They’re getting a disciplined player like me, who’s going to be ready to work, a competitor, and a good work ethic. I’m coachable, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve. Whether it’s on the field, in the locker room, or in the film room, I bring a winning mentality.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love just having fun on the field, it’s an escape from my life and I like being around teammates that want to win.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Bucky Irving in high school, he’s one of the best players overall I played with, he was great as player and leader in high school.
