Henry Cejudo breaks fortune cookie, reveals fight prediction before final staredown with Song Yadong

Henry Cejudo remains the King of Cringe.

Cejudo did his best to live up to his nickname in his final face-off with Song Yadong for UFC Seattle. He also engaged in some truly cringe-worthy trash talk at the ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday.

Having successfully made weight earlier in the day, Cejudo came to the ceremonial weigh-ins with some of his usual staged antics. Wearing a gold chain with one of his own UFC trading cards as a pendant, Cejudo broke open a gigantic fortune cookie on the scale to unveil “the future” for Song: ‘Song’s luck is running low, Round 4 TKO!”

Song didn’t seem at all bothered by Cejudo’s crass gimmick. Instead, Song smiled at Cejudo through their final face-off before issuing his own proclamation.

“Henry is a good fighter,” Song said. “He’s a legend. But I will make sure he retires on Saturday night. This is going to be his last fight, don’t miss it!”

A former two-division champion, Cejudo is currently on a two-fight losing streak and while he agreed with Song that the end is near for him, he rejects the idea that it’s this weekend.

“100 percent, this is my last run,” Cejudo said. “I’m just surprised that Song can speak English. Congratulations to him. Either way, his fortune has run out and on Saturday night he’s bending the damn knee.”
