Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin’s Son Collin Reveals Surprising New Business Venture
Hannah Gosselin and Sister Leah Gosselin Reunite Amid Family Estrangement
Collin Gosselin has remained strong under pressure.Â
One of Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin’s sextuplets, who rose to fame on the TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, is carving out a path of his own with a new business venture: pressure washing.
“Today we officially filed as an LLC!â Collin, 20, wrote on Instagram March 4. âGosselin Pressure Washing LLC is ready to tackle that job youâve been needing to get done! With the spring season approaching fast, our goal is to make your home shine, with our pressure washing/soft-wash services. We prioritize beautifying your home so that all you have to do is admire the shine after we are done!”
He quipped, “Let us take the pressure off your shoulders!”
His new businessâbased in Pennsylvaniaâcomes amid several years of changes for Collin, as he recently started his freshman year at Penn State. However, his first attempt at starting a new life for himselfâjoining the Marinesârecently failed due to his mother’s past actions. He was discharged when they discovered Kate institutionalized Collin in 2016, seven years after she and Jon divorced.
Collin recently gave more insight into what he went through all those years ago.
âI didnât know what was going on, I didnât know where I was going,â Collin shared with Entertainment Tonight last August. âIâve told all my family thisâthat was the most scared Iâve probably ever been in my life. Up until then, I was home with my siblings, with my mom and she didnât give me any information on where I was going, what was going on.â
And while Collin said he was confused at the time, he came to develop his own theories about Kateâs motivations.
âOur family was under a spotlight 24/7,” Collin continued. “My mother, especially following her divorce, there was this light cast on her as a single mother, taking care of eight children. And I believe stronglyâI know stronglyâthe reason I was sent away was for my mother to protect her reputation.â
Kate previously refuted Collinâs claims about why he was sent away in a 2023 Instagram post, writing, “My son Collin, whom I love with all my heart, has received multiple psychiatric diagnoses over the years. For the safety of myself, his brothers and sisters and for his own well-being, he was placed in a facility following years of outpatient treatment.â
When Jon was awarded custody and removed him from the institution in 2018, Collin moved in with his father and sister, Hannah, but he has since been estranged from the rest of his family. However, he hopes to rekindle his relationship with the rest of his siblingsâsextuplets Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Leah and Joel, as well as 23-year-old twins Mady and Caraâin the future.
âI love my siblings very, very much. I would never hurt them,â he explained to Entertainment Tonight. âI would never trash their names in the media. But what I do believe is that my motherâs behind things they say in the media. Sheâs behind their opinion of me. I think if we knew each other today, weâd be very good friends.â

Sextuplets’ 20th Birthday
On Mother’s Day 2024, two days after the former couple’s sextuplets turned 20, Kate shared a tribute the four who lived with her: Alexis, Aaden, Joel and Leah.
