Every fan will be watching as the Cheltenham Gold Cup takes place at this year’s festival, which is now well underway.

The focus will be on Galopin Des Champs once again, after the incredible horse won a second straight Gold Cup in 2024.

There is now a chance to make more history this time around by becoming the first horse since Best Mate in 2004 to win three in a row.

Cheltenham Gold Cup: Date and start time The Cheltenham Gold Cup will take place on Friday, March 14.

The showpiece race will follow the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle and precede the Festival Hunters Chase.
