UFC 314: Joe Rogan, Dustin Poirier set for broadcast team for Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes card

The UFC 314 broadcast team is set for this Saturday’s blockbuster event.

Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that the announce team for the Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes headlined pay-per-view card is set with Jon Anik on play-by-play, joined by former two-division champ Daniel Cormier, and Joe Rogan on color commentary.

Din Thomas serves as a coaching analyst, while Megan Olivi joins the broadcast as the roving reporter in Miami.

The analyst desk features a lineup of heavy-hitters, which includes multi-time UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen, former interim lightweight champ Dustin Poirier, and one-time light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith. Brett Okamoto steers the proverbial ship as desk host, and Anik heads to the desk for the post-fight show.

Additionally, Friday’s UFC 314 weigh-in show is hosted by Dan Hellie and he’ll be joined by Cormier, former middleweight champ Chris Weidman, and commentator Laura Sanko.

Volkanovski and Lopes battle for the vacant featherweight title in the main event of UFC 314, while Michael Chandler faces Paddy Pimblett in the five-round lightweight co-main event.
