2025 NFL Mock Draft: Indianapolis Colts go offensive line
Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State
A lineman who has played all across the offensive line. And with that versatility, he has the ability to start from day one. But it will be most likely at guard or right tackle. With an official height of 6’6 and weight of 312 pounds at the NFL Combine, he possesses good size and ability to add more weight if needed. He’s pretty much a direct Will Fries replacement. The way I see it, his future spot might be at left tackle, but he will start inside for a year or two.
Scouting report:
Tough-guy profile on this prospect coming out of North Dakota State. Zabel has an NFL frame with room for additional mass and possesses a good starting point in terms of his play strength. He has to play with really quick hands and good feet in order to compensate for short arms that make sustaining blocks and controlling pass rushers more challenging. Teams might ask Zabel to snap during draft season in order to project positional flexibility.
