You don’t often find influencers or celebrities giving repeat performances of a get-up—Cate Blanchett, who famously re-wore part of her 2023 Oscars look to Nicolas Ghesquière’s fall 2024 show, is one notable exception—but real fashion people do. Take Vogue contributor Lynn Yaeger who has been known to favor certain pieces but accessorizes each outfit so uniquely each time that you might not even realize it. DSM’s Nick Tran makes sure each of his wardrobe items gets their maximum wear, and i-D’s Steff Yotka has worn her red and white Chopova Lowena dress so often that it’s become a kind of uniform.
