UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblettâs stock is at an all-time high following his career-best victory at UFC 314 last Saturday in Miami. He brutalized Michael Chandler for as long as the fight lasted, before eventually finishing him with vicious ground-and-pound in Round 3.
Pimblett remains unbeaten in his UFC tenure with his bonus-winning performance at UFC 314. In what many believed was the toughest test of his combat sports career, Pimblett passed the exam with flying colors.
After another electric walkout to the Octagon, followed by another stunning finish, Pimblett is basking in his growing spotlight as he nears a potential lightweight title shot.

Pimblettâs massive accomplishment at UFC 314 prompted a big party with his family, friends, and supporters in Miami. As shared by Pimblettâs manager Graham Boylan, Pimblett and his inner circle celebrated with a private yacht dance party after UFC 314.

After placing a $500,000 bet on Chandler to beat Pimblett, McGregor suffered a six-figure loss on the fight result.
Despite his big gamble falling short at UFC 314, McGregor acknowledged Pimblettâs potential in a recent social media post. But McGregor admitted Pimblett has âa way to goâ to earn his full respect and attention.
Pimblett called out the likes of Arman Tsarukyan, Charles Oliveira, and Dustin Poirier after UFC 314. Poirier will compete in what will likely be his final fight in the Octagon this summer against a to-be-determined opponent.
Pimblett notably left out Ilia Topuria from his post-fight callouts ahead of Topuriaâs full-time move into the lightweight division. Topuria vacated the featherweight title ahead of UFC 314, which was won by Alexander Volkanovski on Saturday.
Pimblett could meet with the UFC matchmakers soon to schedule his next booking. But for now, Pimblett is enjoying the fruits of his labor outside of the Octagon.
