Post Malone has already scored a major win in his fight for custody of his two-year-old daughter.
New court documents obtained by Page Six show the âSunflowerâ singer (born Austin Richard Post) filed his own custody documents in Utah Monday â two days before his ex-fiancĂ©e Hee Sung âJamieâ Park filed her petition in Los Angeles Wednesday.
Since he filed first, thatâs where the case will be handled, according to TMZ â and itâs going to save the singer a lot of money, as California allows for higher payments when it comes to child support.

The 29-year-old singer also chose to file in Utah because itâs where he and Park were originally splitting 50/50 custody of their daughter, sources told TMZ.
Park is also said to have moved to California at the start of 2025 after she and Post officially called it quits at the end of 2024.
The insiders also alleged that her move was in an effort to establish residency in California, setting the ground for her to file for custody in Los Angeles for financial reasons.
Reps for Post Malone did not immediately respond to Page Sixâs request for comment.

The identity of Maloneâs ex was revealed on Friday after reports surfaced that she petitioned the Los Angeles Superior Court this week for full custody of their daughter.
Their daughterâs name has yet to be revealed as she was only noted in Parkâs court docs as âDDP.â Her birthdate is listed as May 26, 2022.

Malone announced he had welcomed a baby girl and gotten engaged in June 2022.
The âRockstarâ singer has since moved on with Parsons School of Design student Christy Lee. The pair have been seen going out on public dates since March.
The new couple was most recently spotted on a shopping trip in Paris earlier this month.
