‘Fraud checked’… Fans react to Bo Nickal suffering shock KO loss at UFC Des Moines
Bo Nickal became the latest undefeated prospect to lose his 0 after a shock result at UFC Des Moines.
Ever since joining the UFC, Bo Nickal was highlighted as an almost guaranteed future champion in the promotion, largely because of his decorated college wrestling background.
In his last fight, fans somewhat turned on the undefeated prospect after he was unable to finish veteran Paul Craig, scraping a win.
This time out at UFC Des Moines, he was hoping to get the fans back on his side with an impressive performance against Reinier De Ridder.

“Fraud checked: Bo Nickal,” the controversial, Dillon Danis reacted.
“I can’t believe this happened. MANHANDLED Bo Nickal in the grappling and then broke him through the clinch. RDR is awkwardly special,” another fan commented.
“Khamzat would be given the death penalty for the things he would do to Bo Nickal in the Octagon,” a third fan said.
Nickal previously stated he would beat Khamzat Chimaev in a potential future fight, which has awkwardly aged badly for the American wrestler.
“Bo Nickal should be in federal f—— prison for thinking he can f— with Khamzat,” another fan commented.
Chimaev is seemingly next in line to fight for the middleweight title against Dricus Du Plessis after Dana White provided a positive update on the fight recently.
What’s next for Bo Nickal following shock loss?Although he has suffered the first loss of his career, Nickal is still extremely young in his MMA career and can undoubtedly bounce back from here.
Despite being hopeful of fighting near the top of the division soon, Nickal will now once again have to fight outside of the rankings, before potentially earning a shot at a ranked opponent again.
A fight against someone like Gregory Rodrigues or Chris Curtis could make sense for the 29-year-old next.
