Jordon Hudson may be stepping back from Bill Belichick’s business ventures. The 24-year-old was noticeably absent on Tuesday, May 6, when the UNC coach spoke at NYU’s Stern Business School.

Instead, former Bears vice president of communications Brandon Faber was reportedly by his side, according to Page Six. “Cooler heads may be starting to prevail,” one source told the outlet. “Her influence may be waning.”

Faber, who has worked in the industry for over 20 years, has partnered with other sports organizations, including the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls.

The “Purpose x Winning” event, co-led by author Suzy Welch, reportedly went smoothly as Belichick answered questions about his leadership and experience coaching in the NFL.

Earlier this week, it was speculated that Faber would join Belichick’s camp following an awkward interview moment involving the coach’s girlfriend.

While speaking with CBS Sunday Morning in April 2025, the eight-time Super Bowl–winning coach was asked about the scrutiny surrounding his relationship with Hudson.

“Never been too worried about what anybody else thinks. Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right,” he told the program.

That answer didn’t bother fans — it was the follow-up that left supporters confused. When the reporter asked Belichick how he met the pageant queen, Hudson interjected, saying, “Not talking about this.”

The moment went viral on social media, with followers divided over her comment. However, Belichick quickly took his girlfriend’s side in a follow-up statement.

On April 30, the former NFL coach clarified, “She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track.”
