In The Clear Moonlit Dusk follows the story of a high school girl named Yoi Takaguchi, who happens to be a really tall and slightly masculine girl. Her handsome boy appearance earned her the title of âPrinceâ among the girls in her school. While this wasnât what she wanted, there wasnât much she could do about othersâ opinions or her appearance, so she didnât pay heed to her classmates.
Her chance encounter with a boy, Kouhaku Ichimura, who was also called âPrinceâ (because he was the typical rich boy who threw money around), changed her life, as the man took an interest in her, and got to see a side of her that others didnât. As they grew closer, we got to see a lot more wholesome interactions between the two.

Yoi Takiguchi is a first-year high school student with a tall stature, deep voice, and a masculine appearance that often gets her mistaken for a handsome boy. At school, she is referred to as âPrince,â and unintentionally earns the affection of some female schoolmates. Yoi seems to give up on changing this aspect of her life, as there isnât much she can do about her own appearance and other peopleâs perception of her.
However, Yoiâs daily life changes suddenly when she meets Kohaku Ichimura. This boy is rumored to be very rich, and therefore is also called âPrinceâ by their schoolmates. Although he mistakes Yoi for a handsome boy just as many others have, he quickly gains interest in her. Not only does Kohaku make an effort to get closer to Yoi, but he seems to notice a side of her that others donât.
After a series of interactions between the two, Kohaku offers Yoi an opportunity to try dating him as a test. After this development, the story continues to follow these two âprincesâ as they slowly reveal more of their true selves to each other
