Bengals’ ‘best kept secret’ is key to Joe Burrow’s success in playoff pursuit

Everyone knows about Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Those are the Bengals’ top two wide receivers, the favorite targets of superstar quarterback Joe Burrow.

But they aren’t Cincinnati’s only solid pass catchers. In fact, Bleacher Report named a different Bengals receiver as Cincy’s “best kept secret.”

That guy? Andrei Iosivas.

The former Princeton wideout earned this praise from B/R:

“Iosivas had a bit of a breakout campaign last year, catching 36 passes for 479 yards and six touchdowns.

“A big reason is that he was used as a slot receiver more often than during his rookie season, a role he’ll continue to grow into as a third-year pro. With Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on the boundary in the Bengals’ high-flying offense, the Princeton product could put up some impressive numbers in 2025.”

It’s great for Cincinnati to have a safe underneath guy to throw to along with the studs down the field and sometimes out of the slot.

Iosivas proved himself throughout the 2024 campaign, and he’ll be around for the foreseeable future, it seems.

That’s what a contract in this situation mostly helps signify, if a team is interested in keeping you around. The Bengals should certainly want to keep Iosivas in town.
