New Saga Anime Adds to Cast, Announces Theme Songs

Following an earlier delay, July 2025 premiere plans were confirmed for the anime adaptation of writer Masayuki Abe and illustrator Ryuta Fuse’s New Saga light novels back in January. While we wait for it to arrive, the official website and social accounts went up with some fresh news today, revealing new cast members and theme song details.

The latest additions to the cast are:

Takehito Koyasu as Ganias

Yoko Hikasa as Yulriga

4s4ki is on the opening song, “Enja,” while Mahiru Coda performs the ending song, “her.”

Naoki Mizusawa is directing, with Naoki Horiuchi as series director, Kenta Ihara as series composition writer and Shacho and Hironori “Guts” Anzawa as music composers for the Sotsu and Studio Clutch production.

Alpha Manga publishes Jun Miura’s manga adaptation in English and describes the story like so:
