Chaotic Crossover Brawler Ys vs. Trails in the Sky Reveals Its Roster Ahead of PS5, PS4 Summer Release

If you’re not quite familiar with Ys vs. Trails in the Sky — an old Falcom crossover fighter that’s being revived on PS5 and PS4 — then we’d give this new trailer a watch.

It covers the game’s character roster, which consists of heroes and antiheroes from both Ys and the Trails series. Granted, you’ll need to have played some of the developer’s older titles to actually recognise a lot of these faces, but it’s hard to deny the old school charm that’s on offer here.

We should also reiterate, as the trailer implies, that every character has been dubbed in English for this remaster. The revival even includes rollback netcode for smooth online play.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky is set to arrive this summer, but we don’t have a defined date just yet. Publisher Refintgames better get a move on!
