EA’s best PS5 games ranked and rated
Image: Push SquareWhat are the best EA games on PS5? EA, or Electronic Arts, has been in the business for a very long time, and is one of the largest gaming publishers in the world.
It owes much of its success to annual sports franchises like FC and Madden, but it also has a wide range of other games for all tastes. Need for Speed, Battlefield, Dragon Age, Dead Space — the number of iconic series is impressive.
But which are EA’s best games on PS5 so far? That’s where you come in; this guide is powered by your user ratings, with the list changing to match the tastes of our community. Use the search bar below to find EA-published PS5 titles and rate them appropriately to have your say on this list’s rankings.
A game needs at least 30 ratings before it qualifies to appear on this list, so make sure to leave lots of ratings and make yourself heard.
Without further ado, here are the best EA games on PS5 ranked and rated by you.
10. FIFA 22 (PS5)
FIFA 22 feels like real football, and it’s all the better for it. Impressive improvements to player positioning, ball physics, and animations make for a supremely satisfying simulation that underpins each of the franchise’s flagship modes. Career Mode doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but the ability to create a club is entertaining, and the changes to Player Careers are overdue. Microtransactions still rule supreme in Ultimate Team, and you’ll already have your own personal opinions on that, but there’s so much to do in the game that you could easily invest hundreds of hours into it without seeing a single loot box.
9. GRID Legends (PS5)
Back when Race Driver: GRID blew up on the PS3, we doubt anyone could have predicted that GRID Legends would have an FMV campaign about a fictional racing league. Yet, here we are, with Codemasters’ latest take on an arcade racing franchise that has had its fair share of ups-and-downs since debuting in 2008. Ignore the ridiculous plot and there’s plenty of fun to be had here, with compelling use of the DualSense controller and accessible, responsive racing. The drop-in, crossplay multiplayer is nice, too.
8. Lost in Random (PS5)
Like a game straight out of Tim Burton’s noggin, Lost in Random brings a somewhat creepy fantasy world to life. You play as a girl named Even, out to save her sister in the mysterious, chance-based land of Random. Accompanied by a sentient dice companion, you’ll meet all kinds of quirky characters, engage in unique card-based combat, and unravel a wonderfully written story. If you’re looking for something a little out there, this comes highly recommended.
7. Apex Legends (PS5)
Apex Legends remains a super popular free-to-play shooter, and for good reason. The core gameplay is excellent, and developer Respawn has been evolving and growing the experience ever since launch. Battle royale is its core mode but there are often alternative playlists to enjoy with any of the game’s many unique characters.
6. F1 2021 (PS5)
F1 2021 is the best and most complete version of the annual motorsport simulator. As expected, it contains all the teams, cars, and tracks from the real-world season, and the in-depth career mode is as engrossing as ever. However, it’s the ways the game broadens its appeal that really impress. Braking Point is a great introduction to the world of Formula One, offering not only a fun primer for the proper career modes, but a twist of drama with some cool characters. The addition of Two Player Career and other features make it a more flexible game, letting you really tinker with it to get the experience you want. Oh, and Codemasters’ typically excellent handling model is a winner once again.
