Bright Osayi-Samuel has promised to break his silence at the end of the season amid rumours surrounding a robbery at his home in Turkey and increasing speculation over his future, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian international, whose contract with Fenerbahce expires next month, suggested that much more remains behind the scenes following reports of a burglary at his residence.

Speaking to Fanatik as per Oxu, the 27-year-old claimed there is a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation.

“As always, my name is being tarnished,” he said. “I will reveal everything when the season is over.”

The right-back’s comments come at a time of growing uncertainty at Fenerbahce, who have now gone 11 years without a Turkish Super Lig title.

Despite a strong campaign, they finished second behind fierce rivals Galatasaray for the fourth consecutive season, extending the club’s long wait for silverware.

Osayi-Samuel has been one of the standout performers for the Istanbul giants this season, registering eight assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. Since joining Fenerbahce in 2021, he has made 176 appearances and scored seven goals, earning praise for his defensive tenacity and attacking thrust.

However, tensions have grown in recent weeks. Reports in Turkey claimed the player’s home was burgled, and speculation has intensified about his potential departure, with contract extension talks stalling. Fenerbahce are understood to be keen on keeping him, but an agreement appears increasingly unlikely.

The former Queens Park Rangers man is believed to be close to a return to England, with Premier League side Crystal Palace reportedly leading the race for his signature.
