Image: Push SquareA PS5 Trophy list for the iconic Microsoft Windows CD-ROM sports game Backyard Baseball ’97 has hit Sony’s servers.

The arcade baseball outing – the first in a long-running line of simplistic sports games from Humongous Entertainment – originally launched in 1997, and defined an entire generation due to its vibrant presentation and accessible gameplay.

Playground Productions announced last year that it had reacquired the rights to the Backyard Sports series after ex-NFL centre Jason Kelce had generated renewed interest in the brand by mentioning it on a podcast.
