Ex-Chelsea ‘keeper on Man United’s transfer shortlist
Manchester United have already added Matheus Cunha to Ruben Amorim’s squad this summer, but the Red Devils are unlikely to stop there.
After a disastrous season that culminated in a 15th-placed finish in the Premier League table, Amorim and those in charge of the club’s recruitment are likely to want to bolster their squad before the start of next term.
With that in mind, it appears that the Manchester outfit are eyeing a surprise move for a former Chelsea goalkeeper.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Nice’s Marcin Bulka is one of the names on United’s shortlist as they hunt for a new goalkeeper.
The Poland international joined Chelsea as a teenager and spent three years with the club before joining Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in 2019.

He failed to make a single senior appearance for the Blues and played only twice for PSG, but has now made 89 appearances for current side Nice.
Having initially joined on loan from PSG in 2021, Bulka made his move permanent the following year and has since impressed for the French side.
The Poland international is under contract until the end of next season, but it remains to be seen whether or not Nice would be willing to cash in on the player this summer.
Jacobs claims that Bulka is on United’s list of potential targets as they hunt for a new goalkeeper, however he also claims that current number one, Andre Onana, hasn’t been told that he is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
That suggests that the Cameroonian may still stay put and be given the chance to remain first-choice, however Jacobs does also reveal that Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez is also being monitored by United.
Onana made a number of high profile errors as United struggled last term, and he was dropped on a number of occasions by Amorim.
