The best T-shirt bras are the ones that make us forget we’re even wearing anything at all. To help you find the best ones for your cup size, we did the heavy lifting (literally and figuratively) of testing a wide range of options on different body types—from small busts to fuller chests and everything in between. Whether you like molded cups, convertible straps, or breathable fabric for hot summer days, these picks passed our wear tests under everything from white T-shirts to clingy tanks. Most of them were undetectable under our favorite tank tops.

ThirdLove 24/7 Classic T-Shirt Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone looking for an everyday bra that offers all-day comfort and support, especially if you’ve struggled to find your true fit or land between standard cup sizes

This bra combines a smooth, lightly padded design with premium details like memory foam cups that mold to your shape and half-cup sizing for a more precise fit that feels tailored, supportive, and surprisingly comfortable. The adjustable straps are designed to stay in place without slipping, and the lingerie brand is known for their soft but sturdy balance of stretch and structure.

During testing, I was particularly impressed by how soft and comfortable the straps felt throughout the day. And I love that there’s underwire for a little lift, but absolutely no digging, In fact, I was so drawn to this bra that I ordered the new TempSync version for summer. It’s made with a patent-pending cooling fabric to help balance body temperature on hot days (it’s also marketed to those going through menopause, according to the brand).

What we love: Half-cup sizes for a more custom fit; comfortable straps and underwire; comes in a variety of colors, as well as lace options
What could improve: May not be full-coverage enough for larger busts

Aerie Smoothez Full Coverage Lightly Lined Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone who wants maximum comfort without giving up support. Ideal for small to medium busts.

This bra is a standout for its barely-there feel and second-skin fit that moves with you. It’s made with a soft blend of nylon and elastane that feels smooth to the touch and looks completely seamless under clothes—even tight T-shirts or tanks. There’s no sacrificing shape, either, thanks to lightly lined, full-coverage cups and a flexible underwire that offers gentle support without digging.

One of our testers who usually avoids underwire at all costs said this bra made her rethink everything. “It’s so soft and seamless, I almost didn’t notice it had underwire,” she said. “Definitely a new favorite.” Bonus: The flat hardware and four-row hook-and-eye closure offer just the right amount of customization, so you can dial in on the right fit and support.

What we love: Supersoft, seamless design that disappears under clothes; flexible underwire for all-day comfort; smoothing wings for a sleeker fit
What could improve: Straps are not convertible

Who it’s best for: Those who want a lightweight, breathable bra with plenty of support

Made with a lightweight 3D spacer fabric, this bra is known for its exceptional breathability, making it a perfect choice for warmer weather or anyone who tends to sweat more. The lightly lined cups offer a natural shape with a barely-there feel, while a flexible underwire provides just the right amount of lift and support without sacrificing comfort.

I usually gravitate toward bralettes for that lightweight feel, but I thought this was one of the more comfortable bras I tried. I especially liked that it has three rows of hook-and-eye closures for extra support and it’s barely noticeable under T-shirts. On the downside, I did notice the band stretched out a bit over time, but I’m not especially gentle when washing my delicates.

What we love: Breathable, lightweight fabric is ideal for warm weather; comfortable underwire; wide range of sizes
What could improve: Band stretched out over time

Victoria’s Secret Cotton Lightly Lined Full-Coverage Bra

Who it’s best for: Those who want a breathable, comfortable full-coverage bra that’s perfect for everyday wear, especially in warmer climates

This bra is perfect for days when you want to feel snug and secure—but like you’re wearing nothing more than your favorite tee. It’s made from a soft cotton-modal blend and has lightly lined cups that offer just enough coverage while staying lightweight and breathable. The flexible underwire adds a bit of support without digging in, and the smooth, breathable fabric helps keep you cool in hot, humid weather.

I really appreciated how soft it felt against my skin, while still feeling much more secure than your average bralette. I wore it during a few marathon errand days in peak summer heat and never once felt restricted or needed to make adjustments.

What we love: Breathable cotton-modal blend; flexible underwire; lightly lined cups; tons of color options
What could improve: Doesn’t offer as much overall support as some options

Available sizes: 32B–44GMaterials: 53% cotton, 36% modal, 11% elastaneColors: 24 optionsBest Contour Bra: Wacoal Women’s Basic Beauty Contour T-Shirt BraOriginal photo from Brigitt Earley testing Wacoal Women’s Basic Beauty Contour T-Shirt Bra

Wacoal Women’s Basic Beauty Contour T-Shirt Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone who wants molded support, full coverage, and a bra that stays put. Ideal for those with larger busts.

For those who want molded cups, this best-selling bra from Wacoal features contoured, full-coverage cups that shape and support while preventing spillage and avoiding adding bulk. The wide, camisole-style straps are fully adjustable, and the three rows of hook-and-eye closures help ensure a secure, supportive fit, especially for larger or sagging breasts.

I ordered my usual size—a 32D—and the cups fit perfectly, feeling smooth and supportive throughout the day. Just note: This is true full coverage, so it’s better suited for crew-neck T-shirts than V-necks or tanks. That said, you can move around without anything shifting out of place. Also of note: The lining is minimal, so there may be some nipple show-through or a desire for more shaping, but I personally appreciated the breathability on warm days.

What we love: Full-coverage cups that prevent spillage in larger breasts; wide, supportive straps that don’t dig in; lightweight and breathable
What could improve: Sizes are limited for those with smaller chests

Calvin Klein Triangle Wireless Bralette

Who it’s best for: Anyone looking for a wireless bralette with real support. Ideal for those with small to medium busts.

Made from soft cotton with a wide, supportive elastic band, this bralette-style T-shirt bra offers just enough structure to keep everything in place, whether you’re lounging, layering under a tee, or just wearing it by itself. The racerback straps provide extra support and a secure fit, while the plunging neckline makes it more versatile than you’d expect from a full-coverage bralette.

“I’ve been more conscious about bra comfort after I was diagnosed with a fibroadenoma (a noncancerous tumor) in my right breast, so I’ve been reliant on this bra since then,” says Glamour commerce writer Alanna Martine Kilkeary. “It’s wildly comfortable, isn’t too tight at the band, and gives me enough support without squeezing my boobs.”

Glamour commerce editor Malia Griggs added, “Even though it doesn’t have underwire, this Amazon bra provides just the right amount of support for my 32D boobs, thanks to its thick supportive under-bust band. Its plunging shape is flattering and low enough to wear under trickier outfits, and its bands are thick enough to provide some back support.”

What we love: Supersoft cotton design; racerback straps for more lift and support; flattering plunge that works under trickier necklines
What could improve: Logo band can show under thin or light-colored tops

Evelyn & Bobbie Starlujoplette Plunge Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone looking for a wireless bra that sculpts and supports while remaining invisible under T-shirts and tanks

This wireless and seamless bra is proof you don’t need an underwire to feel lifted and supported. It’s made from soft, stretchy fabric that hugs your body and moves with you, while keeping everything securely in place—especially along the sides and under the bust. The plunge neckline isn’t quite as low as some other options, but the slim straps and ultra-smooth, seamless construction help it disappear under even the clingiest T-shirts.

I’ve had mine for over a year, and it still offers the same level of support as it did on day one, which is saying something for a wireless bra—especially since I’m not exactly precise when it comes to laundering my undergarments. It does feel snug at first, but as the brand suggests, it gradually molds to your shape without stretching out or losing its structure. The side support is worth calling out too. I’ve found the smoothing panels do an excellent job at keeping everything contained and bulge-free.

What we love: Seamless cups with soft edges don’t show through clingy tops; fabric molds to your body over time without losing structure; suitable for both smaller and larger chests
What could improve: Plunge isn’t as low as some may want for deep-cut tops

Available sizes: 30–44 D–J (based on Evelyn & Bobbie”s size chart)Materials: 62% nylon, 38% elastaneColors: Core shades like Sand, Mica, Clay, Umber, and Black, plus rotating seasonal colorsBest Sports Bra: Alo Airlift Intrigue BraOriginal photo from Brigitt Earley testing Alo Airlift Intrigue Bra

Alo Airlift Intrigue Bra

Who it’s best for: Smaller-chested individuals who want a versatile and comfortable wire-free bra that works for everything from light workouts to everyday wear

This sports bra checks all of the boxes: It’s comfortable, supportive, and stylish enough to wear beyond the gym. Made from Alo’s signature buttery-soft Airlift fabric, it offers gentle compression with four-way stretch that moves with you whether you’re doing yoga or lifting groceries into the trunk. It has a slimmer profile than your average sports bra for a more flattering fit and comes with removable padding to help you customize the shape (I wear mine without).

I’ve had this bra for a couple of years and reach for it often—not just for light workouts like barre or strength-training, but also for everyday wear. It’s especially great under racerback tanks or fitted crew-neck bodysuits. The fabric feels breathable and barely there, and even though you might see some faint lines under clingy tops, the comfort easily outweighs the pain point.

What we love: Buttery-soft fabric; highly versatile; removable padding
What could improve: Some visible lines under clingy fabrics

Spanx Spanxsmooth Suit Your Fancy Strapless Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone who regularly wears tight tees and tanks with tricky necklines and needs a strapless bra that actually stays up

If you’re looking for a strapless bra that can double as your go-to T-shirt bra, try this option from Spanx. It’s key for outfits where you want zero straps showing but still need smooth, seamless support—like under tight tees or bodysuits with trickier necklines.

What really impressed me about this one? The staying power. The bra has more silicone grippers along the wings than any other strapless bra I’ve tested (upwards of a dozen), and there are even silicone dots at the top of the cups to prevent slipping and minimize gaping. I wore it for a day packed with over four miles of walking, plus several hours of dancing, and only needed minor adjustments. The only trade-off? It’s not convertible, so you’re committed to strapless wear.

What we love: Tons of silicone grippers and dots to keep it firmly in place; breathable, quick-drying fabric; cups provide a natural, flattering shape
What could improve: It’s not convertible

Natori Bliss Perfection Comfort T-Shirt Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone who wants a barely-there T-shirt bra that combines comfort, support, and a smooth, natural shape.

I’ve had this bra for longer than I care to admit (you can definitely tell when you look at it!), but I just can’t bring myself to part with it because it’s that comfortable. It feels like I’m wearing nothing at all, even though it has underwire for support and delicate lace details for style points. The lightly lined cups sit flush against my skin, making it completely invisible under T-shirts too. And there’s no extra padding to add bulk or create a weird shape under clingier garments.

Beyond the comfort, the seamless molded design gives a natural lift (similar to a push-up bra) and smooth silhouette, making it my go-to whether I’m running errands or dressing up. For a bra that’s both supportive and feels barely there, it’s hard to find a more perfect fit.

What we love: Lightweight, breathable fabric that feels like a second skin; seamless cups with just the right amount of lining and coverage; both supportive and stylish
What could improve: The lace is more prone to wear than the rest of the bra

11/11

Etam Wireless Lightly-Lined Bra

Who it’s best for: Anyone looking for a wireless, lightly lined bra that stays invisible under clothes and feels weightless even in hot weather.

Etam’s wireless bra is lightly lined but doesn’t have padded cups, offering a natural shape without any extra bulk. The ultra-soft microfiber fabric is breathable and comfortable enough to wear all day—even in hot summer weather. And, thanks to its discreet finishes and second-skin feel, it stays invisible under clothing. The cups provide medium support with a natural plunging neckline that works well under most T-shirt styles.

This bra is another go-to for Griggs, who says it checks all the right boxes: soft, cozy fabric, a wireless design, and enough support for her 32D bust. Her only complaint? The back clasp can be a bit scratchy, though she says a piece of clear tape is a quick fix to prevent irritation.
