Kecmanovic, meanwhile, continues to show steady progress at Wimbledon, reaching the third round for a second straight year and the third time since 2021. After a sluggish start against Dutch qualifier Jesper de Jong, the 24-year-old rallied superbly to win 1-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.
Though his grass-court season got off to a rocky start with early exits in both of his warmup tournaments, Kecmanovic has rediscovered his rhythm at the All England Clubâjust in time for the toughest test of all: facing a legend on his favorite stage.
