2. Recap of Episode 4 of Lord of the Mysteries
Klein takes a break from his investigations and begins learning the foundations of ritual magic from Old Neil. He also visits the Tingen Divination Club, where a seer named Vincent warns him about āGatheringā and āFamilyā that seems a bit cryptic at first. Back home, Melissa invites him to a birthday dinner hosted by her friend Selena, who for some reason, becomes the target of a ritual involving a cursed mirror.

A fun evening quickly turns tragic when Selena uses the mirror and becomes possessed. Klein finds Melissa and her friend unconscious, with a grotesque version of Selena confronting him. He struggles to fight back until he senses Audrey and Alger performing ritual magic at the same time, allowing him to get some power and shatter the mirror.
After this incident, Klein and Dunn investigate Vincentās home and uncover clues about the cult known as the Aurora Order and their connection to the True Creator. At the end of the episode, thereās cryptic scene with the Hanged Man and another scene where Audreyās dog Susie, who drank a Beyonder potion, is speaking.

Now that Klein has come across ritual magic and the Divination Club, he will likely follow down the Seer path. All the references with the True Creator and the Aurora Order might be about another threat which is potentially connected to the Antigonus notebook.
