PS5 Pro Support Live for This Month’s Best PS Plus Game

Deploying onto PS Plus Extra in the next 24 hours, developer DON’T NOD has confirmed its excellent story-focused PS5 effort, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, now supports the PS5 Pro.

A tweet from the studio reveals that the game now has “improved visuals and smoother performance” when running on a PS5 Pro. In addition, the update allows the base PS5 system to run the title at up to 120 frames-per-second in VRR.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be added to the PS Plus Extra game catalogue on Tuesday, 15th July along with five other games, like Planet Zoo, Risk of Rain 2, and New World: Aeternum.

The best of the bunch, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden was largely overlooked last year despite its high quality.
