Vikings Territory Will Be at Vikings Training Camp

Over the years, Vikings Territory has worked hard to establish itself as a leading publication covering the Minnesota Vikings.
Our ambition is far from complete – we’re not perfect, so we’re still striving to improve – but we believe we have taken a step forward. The purpose of this piece is to relay the news about that step forward while offering our sense of gratitude.
Vikings Territory at Training Camp: Aug. 2-4
The Vikings organization has given us access to training camp from Saturday, August 2nd until Monday, August 4th. We’ll therefore be able to relay firsthand insight from training camp directly to our readership.
Ideally, the writing will be seasoned with salt, an offering of reliable, authoritative information that’s a pleasure to read. Pursuing that goal is a direct continuation of the vision that was set forth by Joe Johnson, who bought VT several years ago but who has since passed away (his sister and brother-in-law are now the site owners).

Joe bought VT in an effort to keep building off PurplePTSD – the website he founded. He was, above all, a dreamer, someone with vast ambition. He empowered so many of us to pursue writing with his unique ability to inspire and encourage. He would have been thrilled to learn of VT gaining access to camp.
I’ll be representing Vikings Territory at TCO Performance Center while endeavoring to conduct myself with curiosity and class, inquisitiveness and integrity.
