Summer Walker Claps Back At BBL Critics After Viral Breezy Bowl Performance

R&B singer Summer Walker is pushing back against criticism over her appearance following a viral TikTok clip from a recent performance on Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl Stadium World Tour.

The footage sparked a wave of online mockery aimed at Walker’s body—specifically her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) enhancements—but the singer had no interest in staying silent.

On Sunday (Aug. 3), Walker took to social media with a bold message and photo flaunting her figure. Her caption made it clear she isn’t losing any sleep over the backlash.

“I LOVE my body with a fiery burning passion,” she wrote. “Please get over it. I’m not changing or reducing anything. Idk why it would bother you if we’re not intimate & you don’t even know me in real life but please block me if it offends you or keep scrolling. I don’t invest time & energy into people I don’t like, why should you?”

Walker has long been transparent about her body enhancements, previously posting in 2021: “I dead can’t believe I was this skinny lmao, Thank god for a** shots.”

This isn’t the first time she’s been caught in a BBL-related controversy. In June, she posted a photoshopped image comparing South African influencer Nosipho Ndlovu’s BBL to roasted chicken thighs.

After Ndlovu revealed plans to reverse her BBL due to public criticism, some accused Walker of body-shaming. The singer defended herself, calling the post “dark humor” and slamming cancel culture: “Y’all are sensitive as f**k,” she said in a clip shared online.

Despite the backlash, Walker joins a growing list of artists—including Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and K. Michelle—who’ve faced similar public judgment for cosmetic procedures. Still, she’s standing firm in her confidence and has made one thing clear: her body, her choice.
