Henry Halfhead Is Probably the Most Unusual PS5 Game You’ll See Today
Arrives next month
Don’t let anyone tell you there are no fresh ideas in video games anymore. Not when games like Henry Halfhead show their face — or the top half, at least.
Developed by Lululu Entertainment, Henry Halfhead is a funny little adventure title coming to PS5 on 16th September 2025, as revealed by this new trailer.
You play as Henry, who is the top half of a head. The whole hook of this short, silly experience is that you can possess basically any object, changing how you interact with the world around you.
It seems like a simple game about the joy of embodying everyday things; becoming a knife to cut up an apple, or shaking up a can of cola and flying around on a stream of bubbles.
You can play this unusual sandbox game solo or with a friend in local co-op.
We have to wonder if Henry Halfhead is at all inspired by the work of Keita Takahashi — the designer behind the likes of Katamari Damacy, Wattam, and to a T — as it shares a similar whimsy and simplicity.
