Chris Brown Brings “Breezy Bowl” Tour To NJ: 10 Best Song Performances Of The Night
The weather at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on Wednesday (Aug. 13) was nothing short of unpredictable as heavy rain, thunder and lightning sent thousands of Team Breezy fans scrambling for shelter. But when the skies finally cleared, Chris Brown and his talented dancers stepped on stage with gratitude written all over their faces, with Brown even thanking the dedicated crowd for sticking it out.
“I just gotta say a special thanks to y’all for actually staying in this f**king weather,” he thanked the crowd. “Some of ya’ll could’ve went home but y’all stayed and rocked out and I really appreciate everybody who came tonight.”
He added, “20 years of doing this sh*t,” as the crowd erupted into applause. “I really appreciate everybody that’s here. I don’t give a f**k if you in the nosebleeds to upfront. I hope y’all got ya’ll’s money worth tonight.” CB then closed out the show with his mega hit “Forever” as fireworks lit the night sky.

That resilience alone set the tone for the night, as Breezy delivered a high-energy performance packed with surprises — from bringing out special guests to giving fans only a tantalizing glimpse of what it might be like to be with him intimately. He even brought out a few deep cuts that had never made it to the stage before, making the ponchos, frizzy hair and day-after colds well worth it. And if it was a song that the 36-year-old didn’t perform, best believe his DJ made sure to play it.
Here are some of the best performance moments from his last New Jersey show of the Breezy Bowl XX 20 Year Anniversary tour.

There’s something about that triple bass drop that instantly takes you back to the first time “Ain’t No Way” graced Chris Brown’s 2005 self-titled debut. The fan-favorite’s inclusion was a vivid reminder of just how deep Breezy’s catalog runs and how long he’s been running the game.
Brown looked genuinely energized performing the track, while vibing with fans who sang every word, and yes, his mic was most definitely on.

Of all the songs in Chris Brown’s 20-year catalog, “Don’t Judge Me” and “Residuals” stood out as the moments where he truly bared his soul. These ballads gave Breezy the space to flex his raw vocal range and forge a deeper emotional connection with the crowd. As the lyrics to the Fortune track lit up the Jumbotron, fans sang every word — a reminder that, despite the years that have passed, the global superstar is still living under the shadow of old controversies.
When it came to the fan favorite “Residuals,” Brown gripped his signature red bandana–wrapped mic and poured himself into every note, delivering a performance that stirred all-too-familiar memories of the one who slipped away.

As soon as Chris Brown called out, “I’m looking for a girl,” the entire stadium erupted with women raising their hands in the air, screaming in hopes Breezy would choose them. The moment the sultry beat of “Take You Down” dropped and a lone red lounge chair appeared on stage, the crowd knew exactly what was coming: the R&B heartthrob was about to turn up the heat a notch and get cozy with one lucky fan.
Of all the women in the room, a woman who has now been discovered to be a NYC model named Victoria was escorted to the stage and treated to the lap dance of a lifetime from CB himself. The moment, however, led to much discourse online about the process in which women are picked to go on stage.
