Breaking : BCCI Announces Squad For ODI Women’s World Cup 2025, Renuka Returns, Shefali Misses, Know Full Squad

India’s Women’s World Cup squad has been announced, with Harmanpreet Kaur named as the captain and Smriti Mandhana as the vice-captain. However, Shafali Verma has been left out of the 15-member team. The 50-over tournament is scheduled to begin on September 30, with India set to face Sri Lanka in the opening match. India has yet to win the Women’s World Cup, but the team reached the final under Mithali Raj’s captaincy in 2017, where they were defeated by England at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The team that played in the recent series against England has been retained more or so with Only Shafali missingout.
