Tom Brady Celebrates Son Jack’s 18th Birthday With Sweet Throwback Photos
Tom Brady won’t fumble his relationship with his look-a-like.Â
The retired quarterback dedicated a touching photo tribute to his son Jack, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, on his 18th birthday—and the shots will melt your heart. Â
“From little steps to big dreams, happy birthday Jack,” Tom, 48, wrote on the Aug. 22 Instagram post. “You’ve always shown grace, courage, love and kindness since God blessed us with your arrival. I’m so proud of the man you are! Welcome to adulthood, it comes with higher credit card limits, bigger bills, and no curfew…OK, maybe not all at once!”Â
Though the former New England Patriots star is excited to see his son get older, he’ll always cherish his childhood memories. In fact, Tom shared several photos of Jack and his siblings Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12—who he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen—visiting him in his locker room and bonding at home.
Tom also gushed over his son’s interest in sports, posting shots of him wearing his old football gear, training with his bike helmet, and playing golf.  Â
“There is a saying that a dad’s heart soars with his children’s happiness, not with his own…truer words could not be spoken,” he continued in the post. “We love you so much and I know this will be your best year yet.”
Tom’s birthday tribute comes weeks after he shared a glimpse into his family’s packed summer. Indeed, he and his three little ones traveled around the world, from visiting Japan and witnessing “breathtaking sunrises and sunsets” to unwinding on a yacht in Italy.Â

And while he’s thankful for these sweet memories with his kids, he also revealed that another important figure in his life helped him stay present as a dad: football.
“I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family,” Tom said in his 199 newsletter that same month. “I chose to do it by playing football. My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused–those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids. By prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job.”Â
