Fergie Shares Rare Photos of Her and Josh Duhamelâs Son Axl for 12th Birthday
Fergie is celebrating a fergalicious occasion.
The former Black Eyed Peas singer gave fans a rare glimpse at her son Axl Jack Duhamel, whom she shares with ex-husband Josh Duhamel, in honor of his 12th birthday.Â
Fergie shared several photos of Axl through the years, such as a snap of him playing soccer and another where he is seemingly performing in a theater production. She also threw in a few photos of herself alongside her son, including one of them posing alongside a giant Black Eyed Peas-themed guitar.
Alongside the pics, Fergie, 50, wrote a heartfelt message to her son, dubbing him âAxl Jack, the preteen.âÂ
âI am so proud to see how independent youâre becoming and what a kind human you are,â she wrote in the caption of the Aug. 29 Instagram post. âDiscovering everything youâre into and watching you grow brings such joy.â
The Grammy winner added, âI feel so lucky to be your mom.â
While Fergie and Josh announced their breakup in 2017, the âLondon Bridgeâ singer (born Stacy Ann Ferguson) has maintained a friendly relationship with her ex, calling him âa good co-parenting partnerâ the following year.

âWe’re all love and we love each other,â she told Entertainment Tonight at the time âWe’re all cool and just a family.â
Likewise, Joshâwho married Audra Mari in 2022âspoke highly of his post-split dynamic with Fergie, highlighting her warmth towards his new wife.
âFergie is an amazing woman. She really is,â the 52-year-old said on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show in September 2023. âShe’s taken Audra in. And it could be much worse. That’s the thing, you never know how these things are gonna go.â
Josh went on to describe his ex as âsuch a kindhearted person,â adding, âThankfully we have a really civil situation.â
